We work with a small handful of suppliers that source directly from mostly artisan distillers and farms that ensure each ingredient is grown and harvested using ethical practices while also ensuring purity.

INCI: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf

Aloe Vera needs no introduction. It is well known across the world for so many of its incredible benefits. It is packed with antioxidants, minerals and vitamins which together make this plant such a powerhouse. Not only is it incredibly moisturizing but it can also help fight damage from free radicals and speed up the wound healing process. It was Cleopatra’s secret to keeping her skin youthful as it helps increase collagen production by preventing break down of existing collagen and rebuilding collagen in the skin more quickly. Truly an incredible ingredient that we are blessed to be able to work with.

APRICOT OIL

INCI: Prunus armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil

Apricot Oil is made from the kernels of the apricot fruit. This emollient rich oil absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any greasy/oily residue. It is packed with vitamins and essential fatty acids that keep your skin soft and smooth and is also High in Oleic Acid. A wonderful oil for all skin types but especially sensitive, dry and mature skin.

ARGAN OIL

INCI: Argania (Argan) Spinosa Kernel Oil

Argan trees are found in a semi-desert region of southwestern Morocco and produce the Argan kernels which is used to make the incredible Argan Oil. Argan Oil is knows as liquid gold for may reasons. It is amazing for all skin types and is noncomedogenic, which means it will not clog your pores. It is packed with Vitamins A, E, and C as well as antioxidants and omega 6 fatty acids that are essential to healthy skin and hair. It’s high Vitamin E content helps heal dry skin and hair while soothing and protecting against environmental damage. It also helps to promote healthy beard growth and natural shine.

AVOCADO OIL

INCI: Persea gratissima Oil

Avocado Oil has become increasingly popular in recent years. In skincare it is a wonderful ingredient for dry skin as it is high in Oleic Acid which is responsible for moisture retention. It is also high Vitamin E which is incredibly nourishing to the skin and helps plump the skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkle as it can help boost collagen production and regenerate skin cells.

ARROWROOT POWDER

INCI: Maranta Arundinacea

A starch which is obtained from the rhizomes of several different tropical plants, this powder if made from the roots. It is helpful for absorbing oil and moisture as well as smoothing wrinkles, diminishing dark spots, blemishes and acne. It also helps reduce the greasy feel of our body butters.

BABASSU OIL

INCI: ORBIGNYA OLEIFERA SEED OIL

Babassu Oil is a semi-solid oil very similar to coconut oil except it will not clog your pores which makes it a wonderful alternative. It has the same incredible hydrating properties but it actually absorbs into the skin much quicker than coconut oil. In addition, due to its exceptional anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, Babassu targets acne and also promotes healing of acne-related scarring. It is also helpful in relieving dry and itchy skin irritations such as eczema and psoriasis. A true gem.

BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL

INCI: Citrus aurantium bergamia Fruit Oil

This citrus oil is known for being a natural cleanser. Amazing for oily skin, this essential oil is great for unclogging pores and balancing your skins natural sebum. It is also great for stimulating skin cell renewal which is helpful for helping to even the skin tone.

CACAY OIL

INCI: Caryodendron Orinocense Seed Oil

This exquisite oil is packed with incredible benefits for the skin. Not only does it have 3x the amount of natural retinol than Rosehip Oil it also has almost double the amount of Vitamin E. It absorbs into the skin quickly. helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, can assist in improving skin elasticity, evens skin tone, unclogs pores and so much more! Amazing for all skin types.

CASTOR OIL

INCI: Ricinus Communis Seed Oil

A highly emollient oil that is known for it’s ability to penetrate deep into the skin. It is an excellent humectant, lubricant, anti-inflammatory and analgesic oil. It tones, cleanses, heals, hydrates, and moisturizes the skin. 

Being a triglyceride, which helps moisturize the skin, makes it a wonderful addition for those who need additional moisture in their skin. It contains Ricinoleic Acid which is a fatty acid that gives skin a smooth look and feel.

CHAMOMILE

INCI: Anthemis nobilis Flower

We use both chamomile flowers and Roman Chamomile Essential Oil. We love chamomile for many reasons. It’s anti-inflammatory benefits is incredible, making it great for acne, redness and inflammation. It is a wonderful moisturizer which also helps heal skin blemishes, even skin tone and strengthen the skin. Also, it is well known for helping you relax and sleep.

COCOA BUTTER

INCI: Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter

Cocoa Butter is a natural and pure vegetable fat which is extracted from Cocoa seeds. It is loaded with vitamins E and K, antioxidants, fatty acids and has wonderful anti-inflammatory properties. It is well known for it’s ability to deeply hydrate dry skin and can even help relieve symptoms of eczema. It helps to form a protective layer on the skin to help prevent moisture loss while also helping repair damage to the skin caused by free radicals. It can also help to kill off bacteria from the skin while smoothing and reducing the appearance of scars.

EVENING PRIMROSE CO2

INCI: Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil

Known as the “Kings Cure-All” and “Nature’s Healer” it is high in Linolenic Acid and GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid), this oil is incredibly beneficial to dry and aging skin. It is an amazing ingredient for inflamed and dry skin and can help with symptoms of eczema or psoriasis. It aids in cell rejuvenation or cell repair.

Frankincense

INCI: Boswellia Serrata

Known for being an amazing resin that was used back in biblical times, this resin still holds so many impeccable benefits both emotionally and in skincare. It is used to support emotional balance, spirituality, peace of mind and is also very calming. It’s calming effects are not only for emotions but also can help to calm your skin as well helping to sooth and reduce inflammation and redness. It also helps to promote regeneration of new skin cells while tightening and evening the skin as well. It also has high antiseptic and antimicrobial properties which help in keeping your skin clean, clear and healthy.

COCONUT OIL

INCI: Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil

Coconut Oil is a very well known oil that is used for everything from cooking, to hair and of course skincare. It’s popularity has grown over the years due to its high anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. It is incredibly moisturizing and its natural coconutty scent is perfection.

GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL

INCI:

Geranium contains exceptional anti-bacterial, antimicrobial and antiseptic properties that make it wonderful for reducing breakouts, skin irritations and skin infections. It soothes and calms the skin as well as the mind, body and soul. A wonderful ingredient for promoting a clear, smooth, radiant complexion. It also helps to clear dead skin cells promoting the regeneration of new healthy skin cells. It can also help balance the skin’s natural sebum and oils. It’s astringent properties help to tighten the skin while also diminishing the appearance of stretch marks, wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin.

GRAPESEED OIL

INCI: Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil

Grapeseed Oil is a wonderful oil for dry skin. It helps to moisturize dull and dehydrated skin. It is high in Linoleic Acid and Vitamin E which helps to retain moisture in the skin while restoring elasticity and protecting from environmental damage. It can also help promote cell turnover which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and texture.

HELICHRYSUM ESSENTIAL OIL

INCI: Helichrysum Angustifolium (Immortelle) Flower Oil

This essential oil is a true skin hero. Known to some as “Immortelle” or “Everlasting” this oil is known to be one of the best essential oils for skincare due to its wonderful anti-inflammatory properties and high antioxidant content. It is a wonderful skin healer which fights infection and inflammation as well as stimulates the production of new skin cells, reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks and scars and can also help with sun damaged skin. It’s additional anti fungal and antimicrobial properties are wonderful for helping offer protection from various skin ailments such as rashes and infections.

HEMP SEED OIL

INCI: Caanabis sativa oil 

Not to be confused with CBD as it does not contain any cannabinoids (THC/CBD), Hemp Seed oil is a very versatile oil that is utilized in so many different ways for different skin conditions such as eczema, acne, psoriasis, dry skin, etc. It really regenerates your skin from within. Loaded with antioxidants, this oil helps to fight against free radicals which can cause oxidative stress and damage skin cells. It helps reduce the visible signs of aging while replenishing and protecting the skin’s moisture barrier and improving the texture of your skin. It’s astringent properties help to regulate your sebum production helping to keep your skin balanced.

It is incredibly nourishing for all skin types and especially great for oily and acne prone skin as it is low in oleic acid and rich in linoleic acid. It also contains GLA which boosts the oils anti-inflammatory properties. Although the GLA level is low it makes this oil a wonderful addition for those struggling with skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. The phytosterols and Vitamin E help to boost collagen production which helps to restore and rejuvenate the skin and protect the skin from environmental damage promoting healthy skin. It can also help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, large pores and can help tighten and firm the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid

INCI: Sodium Hyaluronate

A naturally occuring polysaccharide that works to support the skin’s collagen and helps the skin maintain it’s elasticity. It is well known in the skincare world for it’s humectant properties as it is known to hold water up to 1000 times it’s weight. It is known to be one of the best moisturizing ingredients in skincare and will help keep your skin barrier balanced while promoting a firmer, more plump look to the skin. Due to it’s low molecular weight, it aborb’s quickly and deeply into the skin allowing for great absorption and deep nourishment for the skin leaving your skin soft, rejuvenated, plump, and soft.

JOJOBA OIL

INCI: Simmondsia chinensis oil

Technically made up of wax esters, jojoba oil is popular in the skincare world due to it’s structure being the most similar to our skin’s natural sebum making it an excellent moisturizer for all skin types as it forms a protective layer on top of your skin preventing your skin from drying out by keeping water in place. Rich in vitamins E, D and A, it contains all the necessary minerals that will keep your skin healthy and plump. Having the unique ability to balance your skin allows the jojoba oil to also keep your skin clean, your pores unclogged and can even help minimize the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Containing myristic acid, which also has anti-inflammatory actions it is quickly absorbed into the skin making it also exceptional for dry, mature and inflamed skin. 

NEROLI

INCI: Citrus Aurantium Var Amara

This is definitely a favorite of mine. From the scent to the incredible benefits, I love everything about Neroli. We use both the Hydrosol and Essential oil .

It’s regenerative qualities are exceptional along with its antiseptic, antibacterial, antiinflammatory and pain relieving benefits making it one of my favorites. It is so versatile and hard to not want to include in every product. 

It is said to be a cytophylactic which means it has properties known to promote cell regeneration and improve elasticity of the skin which makes it great for mature and damaged skin including stretch marks and scarring. For the senses, it is known for being sedative, tranquilizing and relaxing and can also help with depression and insomnia. It is amazing for acne-prone skin as it kills bacteria, dirt and fungus on the skin which is most cases can be the cause of acne. But it is also incredible at reducing redness, inflammation and swelling in the skin. It not only moisturizes the skin but it helps to regulate our skin’s natural sebum. 

MANGO BUTTER

INCI: Mangifera Indica Seed Butter 

Light, moisturizing and non-greasy effective emollient that provides a protective barrier to the skin. Rich in Vitamin A, C, E, B6, Zinc and so many others nutrients. It does not clog the pores and restores your skin’s proper oil balance. It helps to replace moisture and oil that your skin loses, being incredibly beneficial. It’s high anti-inflammatory properties help to feed the skin essential nutrients in order to heal and provide relief for dry skin conditions. The fatty acid and mineral content, specifically the high concentration of Vitamin A, gives your skin the proper benefits to slow down the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is an excellent source of triglycerides, which are fatty acids that work as emollients to help keep the skin soft preventing it from feeling  dry and itchy. It is also beneficial to mature and dry skin types helping to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and also increases skin’s overall youthful look. It has a great phenolic contract which helps to minimize the impact of environmental stressors such as UV rays and pollution exposure which can cause aging.

 

LAVENDER

INCI: Lavandula Angustifolia Oil

Lavender is a very well known flower. It is known for it’s beautiful calming scent but that is just the surface of what this beautiful flower can do. It is loaded with antimicrobial and antioxidant properties which help clear bacteria and excess oil in the skin. It improves circulation but adds oxygen to the skin cells which give the skin cells a boost of energy needed to begin growth of new cells. The improvement in circulation also helps plump the skin therefore minimizing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It also can help balance the skin’s PH levels by moisturizing and controlling oil in the skin. The antibacterial properties help to fight acne causing bacteria and clean out your pores. The anti-inflammatory properties help to keep the skin calm and reducing swelling or redness in the skin caused by acne or other irritants. Truly n incredible ingredient for improving the appearance of scars and the look of dull, dehydrated skin while forming a protective barrier against pollutants. 

Myrrh

INCI: Commiphora myrrha

Another resin that is well known due to it’s use in biblical times which is related to the Frankincense tree. It is very helpful when used on the skin as it helps to cleanse, moisturize, fade blemishes, smooth and tighten. It also has great anti-inflammatory benefits which help soothe itchiness, redness, and inflammation in the skin. It can also help to make you feel grounded and lift your spirit.

ROSEHIP CO2

INCI: Rosa canina Fruit Oil CO2

Rosehip CO2 is much more concentrated than the oil so less can be used however, we really LOVE all the insane benefits of this oil so we kept the same percentage for the extract to really give you guys all the richness of the essential fatty acids including omega-3 and omega-6. It is also rich in antioxidants, Vitamins A, C and E. It penetrates the skin as it is easily absorbed by the upper dermal layer. The Vitamin C content helps to prevent discoloration in the skin while also stimulating collagen production. It also helps moisturize and regenerate damaged skin tissues.

 

ROSE HYDROSOL

INCI: Rosa Damascena Flower Water

Rose Hydrosol is the most well known hydrosol in the world. It is known for its incredible skin healing abilities. It is a wonderful humectant that not only adds moisture to the skin but also helps to keep moisture in the skin. It’s beautiful natural Rose aroma is simply an added bonus to all its its incredible benefits. It is a well known anti-aging ingredient as well.

POMEGRANATE OIL

INCI: Punica Granatum Seed Oil

Another favorite ingredient of mine. First of all, the beautiful golden reddish hue is the most beautiful thing and secondly the soft, semi-sweet scent is just perfection. Now, on to the fun stuff lol. 

This oil is incredibly rich in Vitamin C, meaning it can be very helpful in dealing with dry, dull, mature and damaged skin. The high Vitamin C content in pomegranates can help reduce roughness on the skin when used regularly while the natural antimicrobials and anti-inflammatory benefits associated with the Vitamin C content help to fight acne causing bacteria as well as the inflammation associated with it. 

It is also rich in antioxidants making it a powerful ingredient for neutralizing the effect of free radicals in our skin. It helps stimulate our keratinocyte cells and helps with cell regeneration helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and sagging skin. The polyphenols in this oil are powerful for helping protect skin cells from oxidative damage. 

It helps protect the epidermis and helps with skin cell regeneration in the epidermis and dermis increasing circulation and healing of the skin, aiding in tissue repair and wound healing. Overall, this oil promotes hydrated, smooth, soft, firm and youthful looking skin as it deeply hydrates and prevents moisture loss.  It is rich in phytosterals and Vitamin E making it especially beneficial to mature, aging skin while it’s high natural content of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and Punic Acid gives this oil it’s incredible anti-inflammatory properties.

Prickly Pear

INCI: Opuntia ficus indica

This oil is incredibly special to me. It has the ability to completely transform your skin and I am obsessed with it. It is known as “the miracle plant” and for good reason. It is one of the most effective skin nourishing oils on the market.

A potent antioxidant and free radical damage fighter, this special oil is loaded with Vitamin E, Vitamin K and unsaturated fatty acids. It absorbs quickly into the skin, has a subtle but sweet scent, highly moisturizes your skin and leaves it feeling velvety soft. It also helps improve elasticity, promoting younger and tighter looking skin due to it’s ability to increase collagen production. The antioxidant content helps to brighten your complexion and reduce redness and dryness. A truly great oil for all skin types.

ROSELLE HIBISCUS

INCI: Hibiscus sabdariffa seed oil

The hibiscus flower is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family which contains about 200 different species but the Roselle Hibiscus also known as the “Botox Plant” due to its naturally gentle form of AHA and high antioxidant content has an incredible reputation for its powerhouse benefits to the skin. It helps combat the aging progress by inhabiting the activity of enzyme elastase which is responsible for breaking down our skin’s precious elastin. The natural source of AHA helps to speed up cell turnover resulting in an even skin tone and firmer appearance. 

ROSEMARY ESSENTIAL OIL

INCI: Rosmarinus Officinalis

A Miracle Oil for Acne Prone Skin. Although it has a very green scent, it is a powerhouse ingredient that can truly overcome so many different skin problems. It contains powerful, anti-bacterial, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and astringent properties that all work together to fight off acne and prevent the growth of more as the antiseptic properties help to kill off acne causing bacteria. It is great for congestion as well which includes skin congestion. It helps to gently detox congested skin by purifying from deep within the pores and bringing out dead skin cells, dirt, grime and other impurities. It is great for helping to reduce and keep blackheads and whiteheads at bay. It also helps fight free radicals while also tightening and toning the skin due to its astringent properties. 

Radish Root Ferment Filtrate

INCI: Leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate, Lonicera Japonica (honeysuckle) flower extract, Lonicera Caprifolium (honeysuckle) flower extract, Populus Tremuloides (aspen bark) extract, gluconolactone

A 100% natural plant derived blend used in a very small amount to protect product against fungi and yeast.

SHEA BUTTER

INCI: Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)

This butter really needs no introduction. This rich solid fatty oil has been known for it’s healing and beneficial properties for centuries. Known for being Cleopatra’s must have, never traveling without it, it is known for its deeply nourishing properties by locking moisture in the epidermis leaving the skin soft, hydrated and plump. Packed with oleic, stearic and linoleic acids, this oil melts immediate upon contact with the skin nourishing the skin with its moisturizing, healing and anti-inflammatory benefits. It’s antioxidant properties give this beautiful soft butter amazing healing benefits. It’s anti-inflammatory fats are known to lock in moisture ensuring long lasting hydration. It’s Vitamin A & E help promote skin cell renewal which slows the aging process, helping to increase collagen, restore skin’s natural elasticity and firmness. Containing triterpenes, which is a naturally occurring chemical compound, this can help to deactivate collagen fiber destruction as it’s antioxidant properties helps with the regeneration of new skin cells.

SUGAR

INCI: SUCROSE

We know sugar to be the one thing we should probably stay away from in our foods but used on our bodies, it is actually pretty great! It’s small particles make it a great exfoliator. It is great for helping the skin get rid of dead skin cells which can sometimes cause annoying bumps or even body acne. It helps to brighten, soften, smooth and moisturize dull and dry looking skin. Due to it being a humectant, it will not dry out your skin but rather pull moisture into your skin helping to keep your skin nice and moisturized.

SUNFLOWER OIL

INCI: HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL

High in Vitamin E and rich in nutrients and antioxidants, Sunflower oil is an effective ingredient for combatting skincare issues such as acne, inflammation, redness and irritation. It has great emollient properties which help the skin retain moisture. It helps decongest the pores by clearing out dead skin cells and leaving your skin looking refreshed. The Vitamin A, C, K, and D in this oil help protect the skin from environmental stressors keeping the skin clean and free from dirt and toxins and also minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is also great for soothing redness and dry skin. It can also help promote even skin tone and temporarily minimized pores. 

SWEET ALMOND OIL

INCI: Prunus dulcis

A very popular carrier oil that can help promote a clear complexion by balancing the loss and absorption of moisture in the skin. It helps relieve irritation, inflammation and itchy skin. It is loaded with all the necessary goodness your skin needs to thrive such as Vitamins A & E, essential fatty acids, proteins, potassium, and Zinc. It is wonderful for opening up the pores, deeply cleaning the pores, purging the skin of toxins and retaining moisture. It is great for reducing puffiness due to its anti-inflammatory benefits (this includes around the eyes). Promotes smooth, youthful, even skin.

TAMANU OIL

INCI: Calophyllum inophyllum

When searching for ingredients to help with my husband’s dry patches on his arms, this beautiful green oil was top on my list. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any oily residue and is packed with antibacterial, antiviral and antiseptic components making this an ideal ingredient for skin infections and irritations. It offers great barrier protection and effectively soothes skin inflammation associated with rosacea, eczema, acne and psoriasis. It deeply nourishes the skin due to its anti-inflammatory properties providing the skin with a beautiful even and natural glow. It protects against free radical damages and can also help to stimulate collagen and regeneration of new skin cells helping to heal wounds and scars. A truly magical oil that I love!  

TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL

INCI: Melaleuca alternifolia 

An essential oil that most of us have in our cabinets and if not should! This essential oil is well known for its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Containing more than 100 differents components and is rich in anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antimicrobial properties, this oil is a wonderful ingredient for many common skin issues not just acne. Although it does help reduce acne by fighting acne causing bacteria, it can also help psoriasis, eczema, and can help heal wounds also caused by bacteria. One of its most beneficial compounds is called terpenes. These terpenes , and specifically terpinen-4 show great antimicrobial properties which are effective at killing a wide range of skin harming microorganisms, bacteria, viruses and fungi. It also increases the activity of white blood cells which helps the body fight infection while also promoting faster healing. 

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN


INCI: VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

A humectant that we see on so many different labels. It is typically derived from palm and/or coconut. It is used to help pull water from the air or from the dermis (second layer of skin) to the epidermis (top layer of skin) to keep the skin from drying out. This helps your skin increase its moisture level and also helps encourage your skin to shed dead skin cells by breaking down the proteins which hold the cells together. It also helps to keep your barrier strong.
